How to book your commission

Follow these simple steps to commission a beautiful, hand-drawn portrait of your pet or favourite animal.

Step 1: Size and technique 

Choose the size you would like your portrait to be drawn in using my Pricing & Options table 

Choose which medium you would like your portrait to be drawn in. Take a look at some of my recent work if you are unsure, or feel free to contact me to discuss any questions you may have 

Step 2: Contact me 

Once you have an idea of the size of portrait you would like and what medium you would like me to use, Get in touch
I will get back to you to discuss a your portrait and any requests you may have. We can discuss the pricing and what's included and the time frame you can expect the portrait to be completed in. This will vary depending on my workload at that time. 
If you are wanting a portrait done for a special gift or occasion please contact as soon as possible and be sure to let me know the date you would require the portrait to be complete by. 

Step 3: Choose your photographs 

Ideally I will need around 4/5 of your favourite photos that you think would make the perfect portrait. 

I will work off one main photograph but it's always good to have more photos to look at to get the correct coat shade and eye colour and to capture your beloved pets character

Step 4: Deposit payment 

Once we have agreed the photographs and the price, a 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking. 

What to expect after booking

Once your deposit is received, Joanne will begin working on your portrait. Regular updates and progress photos will be shared, ensuring you're delighted with the artwork.

Step 5: Review and approval

Before the final portrait is shipped, you'll have the opportunity to review and approve the artwork. Your satisfaction is my top priority!

Step 6: Final payment & delivery

Upon your approval, the remaining balance is due. Once payment is received, your finished portrait will be carefully packaged and shipped to your address in the United Kingdom ( shipping costs not included)
